Tip:- Do not waste a lot of time only searching domain names.
Now once you did finding a domain name the next step is buying that domain and hosting for your blog.
Buy a domain for a blog/website
Previously we found a domain name for your blog. Now let us see how you can actually buy and use it to create your own blog at the least cost possible.

If you just need a domain and want to connect it with your hosting(which can be cost-effective) I’ll highly recommend buying a domain from GoDaddy as it is very cheap and it will make it easy for you to connect it with your own hosting provider.
If you want to buy hosting from these big companies like Hostinger, Namecheap, or anything you should consider getting directly hosting from them as they may give 1year domain for free.
But the renewal rates can be higher so I personally don’t recommend it to anyone who is just getting started.

As I already said If you want to go with other hosting services like hosting, Namecheap, Hostgator, Bluehost, etc.
You can just buy their hosting plan and they will provide you a domain for free (1year only)
In just some steps you can get your hosting:
- Go to the respective website from where you want to get hosting
- Jump to the pricing section for shared/managed/VPS/cloud hosting whichever is suitable for you
- Buy the plan which is suitable for you.
- Contact their support and they will help you set up your blog.

Setup WordPress
Once you get your domain and hosting the next part is to get your website live.
There are two ways you can set up the WordPress in your Cpanel given by host or whatever it is given to you to control your website files.
- manually
- automatically
Installing WordPress manually
To install WordPress manually you need to do 5 steps:
1. Upload WordPress files on the file manager
- Open wordpress.org
- Download the latest version of WordPress file on your PC/laptop
- Open your file manager in Cpanel or the given file manager for your website by the hosting provider.
- Go to public_html
- Select upload and upload the downloaded file from your device.
- Extract it, once you do it. You will be able to see the WordPress folder.
- Open it and move all those files from public_html/WordPress to public_html
2. Create a Database and database user
To create a database and database user take the following steps:
- Open Cpanel or the given panel to access your data and files
- Open MySql database > Create New Database
- After creating a new database, scroll down and create a user(Note:- Kindly save the password and username for all the things you do during this process)
- scroll down and you will see Add user to database
- Select the database & user you just created and click on Add.

3. Configure WordPress
Once you are done doing both things you must have the following things with you in the notepad.
Database username & database password
- Now open your website URL (ex: Xyz.com)
- You will automatically get a WordPress configuration tab.
- Select the language as English or whatever you are comfortable with and click next.
- Enter user name & password (Kindly write that in notepad along with database information)
- Entre database information as you note it.
- You are ready to go.
Everything is done. Now just open your site’s URL (xyz.com) and add /wp-admin (ex: xyz.com/wp-admin).
Then you will get a login page, enter the username and password you note along with database information.
4. Install a theme
